Berhampore weather in short
Berhampore lies in West Bengal. The year has three clear parts. Winter, from November to February, is the mildest and driest time. March to May is hot, with April and May averaging about 36 °C for the daily high. The monsoon months of June to September bring more than 1,000 mm of rain in total.
The numbers below are long-term averages for 1991 to 2020 at the Berhampore station. They show what a typical month looks like. They are not a forecast for the week you travel, and single days can be hotter, cooler or wetter. Murshidabad and Lalbagh are close by, but the figures belong to the Berhampore station. Check a forecast a few days before you leave.

No month is guaranteed to follow its average. If your dates are fixed, pack for both sun and a sudden shower, and see the train and road page for how rain can affect travel. Several of the sights are outdoors, such as the lawns around the Hazarduari Palace, so heat and rain shape your day more than the date does. Murshidabad weather and the best time to visit
The cooler, drier half of the year suits most plans.
November to February
This is the usual choice for sightseeing. Highs run from 24.7 °C to 30.9 °C, lows fall to 11.8 °C in January, and each month has less than 16 mm of rain on average. Mornings can feel cool, so bring a light layer.
March to May
Hot, with highs from 33.5 °C to 36.5 °C. You can still visit, but plan sights for early morning and late afternoon and carry water. Rain starts to build in May.
June to September
The wettest period, with 201 to 279 mm a month. Heavy rain can disrupt train services, and outdoor sights are less comfortable. Allow extra time and a flexible plan.
October
The average is 128 mm, so October is still a damp month. Do not count on dry weather, even though the heat has eased.
Berhampore compared with Kolkata
Two different stations, so two sets of numbers.
Kolkata has its own weather station at Alipore, and its figures are not the same as Berhampore's. In January the Alipore averages are 25.5 °C and 14.3 °C with 15.4 mm of rain. In April they are 35.4 °C and 25.7 °C with 55.0 mm. Berhampore is cooler than Kolkata by day and by night in January. In April it is warmer by day and cooler by night. The differences are small, so a Kolkata forecast gives a rough idea, but use a Berhampore or Murshidabad forecast for the day of your visit.
